HS GIRLS LOWER NEW ENGLANDS
by posted 05/04/2012

Congratulations to all nominated players from the Lower New England Region.
There were over 350 players at the 2012 tryout.
All players were evaluated by coaches representing many private and public schools in the region.
Players participated in 7 stations showcasing their lacrosse skills, were observed in full field scrimmages, and participated in fitness testing.
This was a very thorough and tough tryout and each player should be very proud of their effort.

Thank you to all of the players, coaches and parents  for all of their hard work.

Very sincerely,

Jodi Blackburn
Chairperson

by posted 04/30/2012

The NCAA Mens Lacrosse Championships are five weeks away….the world’s largest lacrosse event is coming back to Gillette Stadium, May 26-28.

A record 48,970 fans watched the 2008 Division I championship game here in Foxborough.  Let’s do it again this year!

NCAA Game Times
Saturday, May 26 – Division I semifinals:  2:30 and 5 p.m.
Sunday, May 27 – Division II championship: 1 p.m. and Division III championship: 4 p.m.
Monday, May 28 – Division I championship: 1 p.m.

Town Incentive Program
We have established an added value program associated with the number of tickets sold by each of the towns.  The program is available at www.gillettestadiumlacrosse.com.

Tickets can be purchased either via ticketmaster.com or by submitting an order form direct to Gillette Stadium.

Gillette Stadium Hospitality Village
The Gillette Stadium Hospitality Village is back.  In 2009, the Village became a great pre-game and post-game gathering location for fans from the participating colleges, college alumni groups and youth lacrosse organizations.  Specific information is available at www.gillettestadiumlacrosse.com.

Youth Events
U9 and U11 jamborees will take place on the Gillette Stadium field and in the Dana Farber Field House Sunday and Monday, May 27 and 28.  What a great experience for the kids to play on the same field as the championships!  Full details are available at www.gillettestadiumlacrosse.com.

RV Parking
For those interested in staying overnight at Gillette Stadium we have created the Overnight RV Parking opportunity.  Details are available at www.gillettestadiumlacrosse.com.

How can you help?
1. Please forward our promotional information, including ticket order form, to your lacrosse community.  We will keep track of sales from your town and apply those numbers to the added value program.

2. Create a link from your website to www.gillettestadiumlacrosse.com.

The NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships is the world’s largest annual lacrosse event so let’s enjoy the atmosphere and experiences created during the weekend!

As always, please let me know if we can be of any assistance as you continue assisting our efforts to promote the championships throughout the New England lacrosse community.
